How does the loop end connect to the pole?
It is easy to do it. You can loop it around the front cross pole and threaded the clip end through the hole, pulled it tight and then clipped it to the hold down. Works pretty well but tends to slide sometimes, you just have to check it when you put the top up that it is aligned with the holes on the top.
