Q: Is it effective in saving space?
A: Adorable and saves counter space.Love the flat back which fits snugly against counter wall.The sugar bowl sit well in the rack,and its lid is on a hinge,so it's a one handed operation.Time to enjoy a coffee.
Q: Is it handy when cooking?
A: Yes.The lid can flip up and stay well on jars.Good.
Q: Is it completely sealed?
A: Does not have an hermetic seal or is not completely sealed. The little space on the bamboo lid is for make room for the spoon.But it is a very nice storage jar / bowl.

NOTE:
We measure the jars by hand, please allow the actual size of the jars that you received could be slight different from the size above.
Please put the spoon back into the notch after use to prevent from spilling out if it was hit by the lid when closing.
