Jeffrey is one of those perfect stories of how shelters can give animals a second chance. He was live trapped in the woods of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and tried to attack every shelter worker out of fear. The shelter was unsure if they could ever adopt him out, but they spent months working with him until he was able to be adopted.

Since his adoption in December 2015, Jeffrey has been the most amazing cat and family member. He sits for hours with his owner during medical treatments, goes on walks outside with a harness and leash, and is a perfect example of the amazing work that shelters do to help animals get a second chance and a forever home.

Jeffrey measures 10 inches tall and is soft, cuddly, and ready to be a part of any family.
