Another reason Low-Density polyethylene tubing is preferred is because of its low sealing temperatures. In addition, Low-Density tubing is: clear, has high elongation, and softness. The high elongation makes LDPE great for resisting punctures and tears. Customers wrapping and protecting heavy pointed objects can get thicker tubing to ensure product protection. Many customers wrapping knives, nails, screws, and other pointed objects can use 6 mil tubing to protect and package their products. This ensures excellent puncture resistance without sacrificing clarity.

Polyethylene tubing can also be closed using a variety of methods, however the most common form of closure for poly tubing is heat sealing the ends. Use an impulse sealer to obtain an air-tight seal to protect products from moisture and other exterior elements.

Our flexible, continuous roll of poly sleeving has no seams to split or tear and comes on a roll with a 3" core for effortless dispensing. Slip the open end of the poly tube over the item and seal each end with a standard poly tube heat sealer to protect for storage or shipment.

Resilia poly tubing is ideal when packaging a wide variety of different sized items. It eliminates the need for stocking numerous bag sizes because these poly tubes can be cut to length and sealed with the contents protected inside. It is an easy and inexpensive solution.
