Feature:

My experience:
I have 2 of this mat at home, one I put it under the sink, it is very main purpose of this item.
The other one I put in patio, for smoker.
For cleaning, honestly I am lazy and did not clean it very often.
I usually hand wash it and just lay to dry. It would take long time for this material to dry, as it is water absorbent
