How Important is The PCV Valve?
A PCV valve that's supposed to regulate the flow of these gases is the heart of most PCV systems (some newer vehicles don't have a PCV valve).
The PCV valve routes air and fuel from the crankcase back through the intake manifold to the cylinders rather than allowing them to escape into the atmosphere.
