Sound Acoustics
Controlling sound is about taking the clutter out of sound so that you can hear clearly. In an untreated room, a listener hears not only the direct sound from the source, but also the sound that has echoed freely off the walls, floor, and ceiling. These echoes (called reflections) compete with each other and distort what is being heard. For a recording studio, this means excess unwanted sound recorded into your mix. For a control booth, this means not hearing mixes accurately. For a noisy classroom, this means needing to speak louder in an attempt to overpower competing sounds.
Acoustic wall panels are used to help improve the sound inside a room. The design increases a surface's area which absorbs sound waves, preventing them from causing slap back echo and reverb in a room. They are a great solution for spot treating recording studios, home theaters, vocal booths, offices, and more.
Spot Treat Your Listening Environment
True North sound dampening panels are 12" by 12" squares and with 1" width at the thickest point. They work most effectively on mid and high frequency sound waves and may be used to acoustically treat walls and ceilings. Perfect for those environments that demand sound control, but where complete acoustic absorption isn't needed.
Cost-Effectiveness
Proper acoustical treatment gives you a clear sound quality by controlling early reflections that come from the room's surfaces. True North acoustic wedges are a cost-effective solution to achieving the sound you desire without breaking the bank.
