This Camera Module is a custom designed easy plug and play for Raspberry Pi.
It attaches to Raspberry Pi by way of one of the two small sockets on the board upper surface.
The sensor itself has a native resolution of 5 megapixel.
Still picture resolution: 2592 x 1944, also supports 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90 video.

- The sensor has a native resolution of 5 megapixels and 1080p 5647 sensor in a fixed focus module. It is capable of 2592 x 1944 pixel static images, and also supports 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90 video.
- Compatible with pi zero and pi 3 series : 2 pcs addition ribbon cables are provided. One FFC pi camera cable is for 3 b+ / 3 b / 2b / A+ / B+, the other one for pi zero and pi zero w.
- It's a little camera but works great for raspberry pi series, widely use for car photographing, video recording, indoor and outdoor monitoring, Aerial photography,simple to install and use camera module.
- This interface uses the dedicated CSI interface, via the CSI bus, a higher bandwidth link which carries pixel data from the camera back to the processor.
