This gyroscope is operated by pulling string, easy to master and play good even for a 9-year-old. It's made by fine material with fine craftsmanship (its maker is a watchmaker; watchmaker usually make things with precision) and all the efforts give it perfect balance, robustness and fancy appearance.

Once master how to play, it's easy to make it spin for 7-15 minutes on hard and smooth surface like glass or ceramic tile with flat surface; if keep it from edges, 20-25 minutes is possible. And what's more, this one can stand on almost all kinds of surfaces (like any other gyroscopes). You can play it anytime, anywhere. This is a great time killer, a wonderful conversation piece.

Note: at first you may find the tip of the shaft slightly off-center. Don't worry, after times of spinning, it will be perfectly centered.
