1. In order to get accurate ketone readings, please exhaust the residuals completely with the ketone meter before your first use by running the keto breath tester 3 times without blowing, because each ketone breath analyzer was tested during the production before shipping to warehouse, there may be residuals; if you want to test another person consequently after your testing, please also kindly exhaust your previous residuals;

2. Please blow immediately within first 5 seconds when displaying BLOW on the ketosis tester if you finish the residuals exhaustion step, because the ketone breath tester starts analyzing the breath right after the first 5 seconds, please make sure you have blown 5 seconds in total (it means you breathe immediately after the BLOW showing, and until the number change to 4, then finish the breathe, only in this way you have blown for whole 5 seconds);

3. Please kindly separate 3-5 minutes for next testing if you want to test more than once at the same time period;

4. Please choose a fixed time in the morning for the testing when you are still in fasting status, as everything you intake including water will influence the acetone content from your breath;

Ketone Meter Readings:

a.Readings of 0.0: still not in ketosis state

b.Readings of 0.1-0.5mmol/L: in a light state of ketosis (the process of fats being used by the body as the main source of energy began )

c.Readings of 0.5-3.0mmol/L: in full state of ketosis, the optimal ketone zone (the process of fats being used by the body as the main source of energy)

d.Readings over 3.0mmol/L: in starvation ketosis

e.Readings over 5.0mmol/L: in too much ketosis and need medical care

f.Readings over 7.0mmol/L: in ketoacidosis
