．GRA-1899T Portable Telescopic HF Antennas were designed specifically for the popular Yaesu YAESU FT-817, FT-817ND, FT-818, FT-857D or KX3 Multimode HF/VHF/UHF Portable Transceiver. These antennas cover all HF bands, including WARC bands, from 80 Meters to 6 Meters. They handle up to 25 Watts RF power. For our Ham Friends on other continents, these antennas also cover the 4 meter band!
．They are fitted with a convenient BNC connector and are approximately 5 ft., 5 in. tall when fully extended. This makes it ideal for the FT-817 or other QRP transceiver. Band changing is achieved by plugging the "wander lead" into the appropriate socket on the base coil, and then making fine tuning adjustments with the 10-section telescopic whip. When the whip is collapsed and unscrewed from the matching coil, the entire antenna may be stored in a space only 12.6 in. long.
