1. It is normal that the product produces smoke when used. Suggest use in a well ventilated space.
2. Tips(Points) are made of copper which transfer heat fast but flimsy after warmed up. Please DO NOT apply excessive pressure when using.
3. Tips(Points) are likely oxidized to black. Using emery to clean it firstly, then turning on power for heating, putting on tin immediately, you can clean the oxide.
4. Please wait the temperature drop down then replace tips wearing a work glove. Or using pliers to change tips for your safety. Do not bend when removing.
