Small and light jaw harp with a medium-hight sound pitch, great sensitivity and very easy to play. The timbre of the vargan is remarkable for the fact that the inharmonic/machine extra-sounds are presented in much smaller degree. It is not laike in many modern popular jews harps, which cannot boast anything other than loudness and oversaturation. Those unwanted colorations are present and noticeable, but allow you to hear more musical overtones than any jews harp in this price category. And any single sound is automatically becomes saturated in the same way. The strikes in both directions produced same sound and the reed is very stable, but a two-way movement requires some experience. In general, "Kurtuguz" is the best jews harp in its price category.
