Which Grit? 400 Grit: It is typically used to repair knives with chipped edges.
1000 Grit: This grit have enough abrasive properties to do sharpen knives that are not very dull.
3000 Grit: Make edge of most knives and tools extremely sharp.
5000,6000 Grit: Use to polish edge and make it smooth and bright.
8000 Grit: Make it perfectly smooth and bright.
10000 Grit: Make it perfectly smooth and bright.
Follow the steps below:
🔪1. Soak the sharpening stone with water for 5 minutes, then put it on a steady surface such as a table or a desk.

🔪2. First use the #5000 grit side for coarse grinding in 10~30 degree angle, push the knife out with a little force,
and then gently retracted. This process takes about 15 minutes.
🔪3. Then use the #10000 grit side for fine grinding. This process takes about 10 minutes.
🔪4. After sharpening the knife, clean the knife with wet cloth or water, then dry it.
🔪5. Use a soft brush to clean the sharpening stone, then placed in a ventilated place out to dry.
Please keep the tips!
- Do not only use the middle but the whole surface.
- Do not hone serrated blades and ceramic knives with it.
- The flattening stone also needs to be soaked in water for 10 minutes with the stones before flattening.
