Before replacing the heating element
Unplug the power plug from the wall outlet, remove the corresponding fuse
from the fuse box, or flip the corresponding circuit breaker on the breaker panel.
Depending on your model, you may need to remove the cabinet of the dryer to
access and replace the heating element.
Check the parts that need to be replaced with the heater assembly. Coil,
thermostat, thermal fuse or entire heater assembly. A dryer that does not
produce any heat or heat is not enough to dry the clothes can be frustrating.
