This socket is specifically designed only for special "flower head" Mercedes lug nuts. NOT for standard 6-sided hex lug nuts or locking lug nuts.
The 17mm Protective Lug Nut Socket has been manufactured with a Blue, synthetic polymer sleeve around the socket to ensure safe removal of the lug nuts on your vehicle. The synthetic polymer sleeve provides a layer of protection which prevents marring and scratching of your wheels while performing maintenance. The Protective Lug Nut Socket is forged from chromium molybdenum alloy steel for long-lasting durability. This lug nut wrench is designed to be used with ½-inch square drives, and can be used with hand, electric, or air tools.
