A quick note before you use it as follows : 

First, you just need to raise its' interest in this dog toothbrush. You can squeeze some peanut butter,coconut oil or whatever your dog loves into the hole of toothbrush stick. 

Also can be smeared on the surface of the bristles. After one week or longer time, your dog may will be used to chew it every day. Then, you don't need to add dog food anymore just add some toothpaste for dental care.
