Common Issue #1
If your hearing amplifiers aren't working properly
Solution
1. First, make sure that your amplifier is turned on.
2. Make sure that you are using fresh batteries, and that the batteries you are using aren't dead.
3. Check that the battery door is completely shut.
4. Make sure to increase the volume slowly until you hear things comfortably, DO NOT turn the volume all the way up. It takes a few days to get used to using a hearing amplifier.
Common Issue #2
If the amplifier works, but the volume is too low or too loud
Solution
1. Adjust the volume up or down by rolling the volume dial.
2. You must take time to get used to using a hearing amplifier. You should have the volume on low for the first week and slowly adjust it up.
3. If the volume suddenly becomes too low, then check the ear dome for ear wax blockage.
Common Issue #3
Do you hear whistling sounds? Solution
1. Start by decreasing the volume. Always start with the volume on the lowest setting. Increase the volume one click at a time, at a very slow pace. Many times, it takes at least a week to get adjusted to wearing a hearing amplifier.
2. You must choose the ear dome that fits snugly in the ear canal.
3. Make sure that the ear tube is not pinched in anyway.

Do you hear a constant background noise?
Solution
1. You must allow yourself time to acclimate to wearing hearing amplifiers. Week 1 you should have the volume on the lowest setting. By week 2, you can start turning the volume up slowly.
2. You must select the ear dome that fits snugly into your ear canal. If there is any leakage in the ear canal you will get white noise.
3. If you turn the volume up too high, then you will notice background noise, especially if you have not went through the 2 week acclimation process.
