SM214 cover is designed by Samotech to let Philips Hue users install the Dimmer Switch on top of existing light switches. Thus keeping the dimmer where it should belong and protecting the light switch from an accidental switch off. As it stands smart bulbs will only work if they are supplied with the electricity. Switching off the main light switch disconnects the smart Philips bulbs and renders the Philips Hue features useless. SM214 cover helps to keep your Hue routines operational and protect the bulbs from an accidental power cut.
The SM214 simply attaches magnetically to the cover plate screws, no tools required.
