Q:Are these waterproof outdoor lights?
A:The strands was waterproof,but the plug and control box was not,please just place them where they can't get wet,underneath the rafters of your roof.

Q:I cannot get the lights to turn on,do I need a separate cord to make them work?
A:There's an US Plug at the other end of the string light. Just simply plug in and it will light up. Another plug is to extend with another light if necessary.
