They can easily be trimmed to any desired height. They are UV treated to prevent deterioration by sunlight exposure. These feature a small opening and construction grade durable mesh pattern. Other tree guards without ventilation can hold moisture and be harmful to the tree, while typical mesh guards have a mesh pattern with too large of holes that still allow vulnerable access to the tree. These mesh tree guards offer the best of both worlds with small holes to limit access to the tree bark and provide needed ventilation while still offering a stiff durable construction. These come with a pack of 40 zip ties (8 per guard) to securely fasten the 2 sides of each tree guard together. The zip ties are also UV treated to prevent deterioration by sunlight exposure.
