Second - no plastic in your set removes the possibility that your large food storage containers with lids has any unhealthy chemicals in them, such as BPA. We use only borosilicate glass (the strongest out there!), bamboo and silicone. Our glass food containers are perfect to store leftover dinner. And in a snap, you can turn your leftovers into lunch with our free bamboo cutlery (with adjustable elastic wrap) and our microwave safe containers. Use in the oven or microwave up to 400 degrees or freeze up to -20 degrees. This flexible set of reusable food storage containers will be your new favorite kitchen accessory. We've made our lids specifically with a grooved lid for easy stacking. Some sets use a flat lid which, when stacked, can slide around and cause your containers to fall. Our grooved lid makes for easy stacking - no spills or messes. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR BAMBOO LIDS: Do not put in dishwasher or microwave, or use harsh abrasives. Remove silicone ring for easy cleaning. Silicone ring is dishwasher safe without the bamboo lid. Hand wash and dry after use. You can extend life of these lids with mineral oil.
