Pencil Cam was designed and prototyped in the United States, going through many iterations and trying different materials until the final design was chosen. The very first version was made of wood! Now the manufacturing is outsourced to a partner using high-quality acrylic material, in order to provide you with the best look-&-feel at a competitive price. We love Wyze Cam as much as you do, and we can't wait to hear your feedback about this new accessory! (Needless to say, camera and pens/pencils are not included.)
