Sustainably grown in the Alhambra Valley located in the Briones Hills of central Contra Costa County, California which has an overall mild Mediterranean climate. Our oil has a peppery finish perfect for dipping, salad dressings, marinades, and your favorite recipes.

Exclusively produced in Northern California using a blend of Frantoio and Leccino olives.

Frantoio ("Fran-toy-yo")
The Frantoio is one of the most highly acclaimed oil varieties in the world. Frantoio olives are native to Tuscany and produce a refined, aromatic, savory oil.

Leccino ("Le-chee-no")
The Leccino olive is one of the primary varieties of olives that cultivators use in the production of Italian olive oil. It is believed to have originated in Tuscany and is now grown all over the world. Due to its delicate nature, the olive oil it produces is commonly blended with Frantoio olives to create more flavor.

Balestrieri Family Farm is family owned and operated. We grow grapes and olives and have a variety of rescued farm animals. Our farm is 55 acres with 600 Leccino Olive trees and 50 Frantoio Olives trees both planted in 2000. Our estate-grown Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a blend of our Leccino and Frantoio olives and has a peppery finish perfect for dipping, salad dressing, marinades and your favorite recipes.
