- Please keep the thermometer OFF, then open the battery cover and take out the batteries, push the toggle switch to change from °C to °F or vice versa.
Object/Room Mode
The thermometer is also able to check the object/room temperature.
When the thermometer is power off,Press the "mute/unmute" button for 3 seconds until it enter the object/room mode, point the thermometer probe at the center of the object , about 0" to 2"(0-5 cm ) away from the surface or put it in the air(for ambient test), press and release the Measure button in 1 second, the beep is heard, and you can read the value.
