Made of heavy plastic. You can thread a ribbon thru the slot and wear it around your neck.
The curved point helps tuck pinned seams that don't take well to ironing.The flat end is just long enough to keep fabric from curling over the pressure foot, while staying far enough from the needle.
The slot that could be used for feeding drawstring or elastic through a channel. Flat end measures 1/4" for a quick measure of dream allowance, etc.
It is a great little all purpose tool that works great. Highly recommend having it in your sewing kit for point turning, elastic threading, and using as a stiletto.
