Two kids find themselves magically transported to the wonderful land of Sillyville, where they meet a pixie-ish character named Sillywhim. She asks their help in bringing together the various groups of this imaginative world. (Each group wears a different color and has a bias against any color that's different.) The kids' encounters with the Sillyvillians result in almost nonstop nonsense songs that will delight young viewers: there's everything from "I'm a Nut" to "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt." The message--that because someone looks different it doesn't mean he or she is bad--is a positive one. And the musical shenanigans will hold the attention of the 1- to 5-year-old audience for repeated viewings. --Marshall Fine
