Beware the God of War! The rippling muscles on the faux-leather-clad, 12-inch Xena action figure--Ares "The Deliverer"--should have us mortals quaking in our boots, and the look on his face suggests that our fear is warranted. He's mean-looking, but he should be: Xena has turned her back on him, hoping to leave him in the past. But he keeps turning up, and this sword-wielding posable figure is the perfect foe for the Warrior Princess's backyard adventures. His clothes and gauntlets are black with silver trim, adding just the right element of menace to an already-imposing figure. --Rob Lightner
