Faber-Castell uses the highest quality materials in Polychromous pencils, including pure lightfast pigments. Their smoothness and resistance to smudging makes them a pleasure to use. The leads can be sharpened to a very fine point allowing toe to draw fine filigree details or cover extended areas. No wonder they have been artists, favourite pencils for over 100 years.
