This maximum security latch strike is constructed of stamped steel and it comes plated in a brass finish. This security strike is designed to replace a standard strike plate for maximum security. Installation of this strike strengthens a locked door with six 3 in. long screws that attach to the jack/trimmer stud to help prevent kick-ins. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be required for flush install.
