This box strike plate is constructed of steel and it comes plated in a brass finish. This security strike is designed to replace a standard strike plate for maximum security. Installation of this strike strengthens a locked door with six 3 in. long screws that attach to the jack/trimmer stud to help prevent kick-ins. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be required for flush install.
- Used to replace smaller, standard size strike plates for increased security where high security is desired
- Brass plated finish to match existing door hardware features a 1 inch deep box to receive projecting dead bolts
- The taller plate 1 ΒΌ inch wide x 4 7/8 inch lenght and deeper box design of this Armored Security Strike will require additional chiseling for flush installation
- Includes 4 installation fasteners 2 inch Phillips head screws for maximum strength and protection
