Produced from 1936 to 1940, the Spartan Executive had endured as one of the most valuable and sought-after vintage airplanes in the world. Distinguished by its advanced design, streamlined metal construction, luxurious cabin, range, and cruising speed, the Spartan was a radical departure from the wood-and-fabric private planes of its day. Whether serving as the finest private air transport or as the UC-71-SP during World War II, this fabulous airplane certainly deserved the name "Executive."
