Canary Island Date Palm Seedlings. They are approximately 10-14 inches tall. Hardiness zones 8-11. Trunks are rough and somewhat fat. Leaves are pinnate (feather shape) with spines. Maintenance is easy and speed of growth is slow. Height is approximately 40 plus feet. The Canary Island Date Palm also produces an edible fruit. Requires average moist-soil with good drainage and full sun. Makes a great container plant or can be planted in the ground.
