This listing includes five round base magnets which are made of grade 8 ceramic magnet encased and glued inside of a steel cup. The steel cup is chrome plated with a shinny finish. The magnet and the steel cup form a magnetic circuit so the holding force is tripled to 35 LBS with a direct touch to a solid steel surface. The steel cup also provides the protection to the magnet so it becomes much more durable.

The outer diameter of the magnet is 2" (50 mm) with 0.18" (4.5 mm) center hole ( for a #8 bolt). The total thickness is 0.28" (7 mm).

This magnet can be used as holding magnet , lifting, antenna mounting, positioning, retrieving and much more.

Round base magnets are also known as magnetic cup magnets.
