Neiko Tools double-edge 1/8" drill bits have twice the drilling life of normal drill bits and are great for machinists, stationary drills, production work and more. Bits are 1-15/16" long and have a straight shank, 3/8" of fluting. These dual edge drill bits are made with high speed steel, a special high performance steel for hardness in high temperature and wear resistance. HSS cuts especially well into wood, aluminum, cold rolled steel, and can also penetrate carbon steels, alloys, sheet metal, hard wood, plastic, PVC, drywall, composition board and more. Bits are coated with nitride for increased wear-resistance, fatigue strength, corrosion resistance and lubricity. Bits have a 118° standard point which cuts more aggressively than 135° split point bits and is great for precise cuts in soft materials
