This is a pewter pendant from our "Ancient Rune" collection. This is the SIGEL Rune. The pendant comes on a story card explaining the meaning of the pendant. A black adjustable, corded necklace is included. The pewter also has a slight hammered look, a feature of higher priced pewter and sterling. The Sigel is the Rune of will and self confidence. It provides the power and path to follow to make positive changes. Around 200 B.C. the Nordic tribes of northern Europe devised these Rune symbols to represent the forces of nature. It was believed the by picking the appropriate Rune, the wearer could harness the power the Rune represented.
