Bob's Red Mill Sweet Dairy Whey powder is a dried by-product of cheesemaking. You can replace some of the white sugar in your baking recipes with Sweet Dairy Whey. It can also be reconstituted in water (2 Tbsp Sweet Dairy Whey to 1 cup water) and used as a cheese brine or in a baking recipe calling for water. You can also sprinkle the dry whey on baked potatoes, popcorn, or roasted vegetables, or stir into mashed potatoes. Mix dry whey with cornmeal for a delicious fish or chicken breading!
