Product Review
Baptisia australis, commonly known as blue wild indigo or blue false indigo, is a flowering plant in the family fabaceae. The blue baptisia is typically very expensive to purchase at garden centers (and also difficult to find!), so this is really a great plant to grow from seed. They are not at all difficult to grow. The tall thin branches arch out from the plant in a dangling fashion. The color blue of the flowers is breathtaking. They also have very interesting dried flower pods for arrangements. Light requirements: sun - part shade . . . Soil / water: average - dry. Bloom time: spring. Hardiness zone: 3 - 10 (and reseeds itself easily).
