Japanese Pinks (Dianthus Heddewigii Black & White) - Don't ask us why the common name for Dianthus Heddewiggii is "Pink" as this black and white flower grown from flower seed is a stunner. Elegant, bushy, uniform plant, produces blue-green foliage, with large double flowers, fringed. Be sure to deadhead to encourage re-blooming. This is one of the most attractive of the Dianthus flowers available in the marketplace. Somewhat hardy but best treated as an annual in most areas of the U.S. Large double black and white blooms last through the season. Unique color combination for contrast. Grow this flower seed in full sun to partial shade.
