Grow a garden filled with Carpet of Snow Alyssum, from freshly harvested Lobularia maritima seeds. Carpet of Snow will produce gorgeous mounds of pure white flowers, all summer long. The plants only grow to a short height of roughly 4 to 6 inches tall. this makes them an excellent choice to use as a ground cover. Carpet of Snow Alyssum flowers will produce a sweet smelling fragrance, which attracts an array of beneficial insects to the garden. Many gardeners plant Carpet of Snow Alyssum in their butterfly gardens to attract the bumblebees, honeybees & butterflies. Carpet of Snow Alyssum is categorized as an annual flowering plant. Combine Carpet of Snow with Royal Carpet Alyssum for a beautiful color contrast of violet on white. Royal Carpet grows to about the same height and will grow in the same conditions as well.
