Readers of my books on lost mines and buried treasures, along with many who attend my talks and some who follow my treasure hunting adventures, often inquire about what I refer to as the ever-important research process. Specifically, people want to know how and where I learn about the existence of lost caches and long forgotten mines. Then, once these have been identified, they want to know about my process for locating them.
