The spectacular blooms of the 'Dynamite' Crape Myrtle are certainly one of a kind. Lasting from spring until fall, they offer The contrast of bright red to a summer green lawn like no other plant. The bloom pod does have a white flake on it, misleading many into thinking it will open up white. IT WILL NOT! Just be a little patient and it will fully bloom into a fire engine red. This tree will amaze for sure. Resistant to mildew, disease, drought, and insects, they practically take care of themselves. Crape Myrtles are excellent specimen trees, as well as natural privacy barriers. They are exceptionally attractive focal points at the corners of foundation plantings or in groupings at the corners of your property.
