Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei 'Zuni', is a semi-dwarf, multi-stemmed tree. New foliage has a shiny red edge and becomes deep green. It grows from 9 to 12 feet tall and 8 to 10 feet wide. The large, rich lavender colored flowers are displayed from July through September! The Zuni Crape Myrtle is mildew resistant, has improved hardiness, and handsome peeling bark. The leaves will change to a dramatic orange to red-maroon color in the fall, giving extended beauty into the autumn months.
