THIS IS A SPECIALTY PIECE OF BODY JEWELRY THAT WORKS JUST LIKE A CAPTIVE RING. THEY CAN BE TRICKY TO USE IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH HOW THEY WORK. A small piece called a segment comes out of the ring for insertion into piercing. The segment is held in by pressure, and the ring needs to be opened slightly to get segment in and out and a captive ring opening tool may be required.
