This is the sequel to A Howl in the Night, written for adults (PG-13) It is a mystery/ adventure with two lovable dogs who narrate the story.
Taser and Meatloaf's world is turned on its head when the recession finally hits their rich Scottsdale subdivision. Money problems filter down and disrupt the two Labrador's lives.
Their master, Robert, struggles to make his house payments, while Taser struggles to understand money and the economy in an effort to help. Criminal activity arrives in their declining neighborhood, along with a new alpha-dog challenger to Taser. The Labs try to cheer up Robert by finding him a new mate, but suddenly a new challenge pops up: Dogs are disappearing from their homes.
When the pack hears a plaintive cry for help in the form of The Twilight Howl, they must join forces with their coyote enemies to save one of their own.Â
