Start Catnip seeds for your cats! Cats will enjoy both Catnip and Lemon Catnip and may sprawl over the plants. The difference in the two lies, not only in the lemon scent but also the appearance. Lemon catnip plants are a bit smaller than common catnip and the foliage is a soft green rather than gray/green. Nepeta Lemon Catnip is great in teas and has beautiful blue blooms in summer which attract honeybees. Start the Nepeta seeds indoors in late winter for transplanting out once frost danger has passed.
