Mix NS-W1 (POLLINATOR CONSERVATION MIX) is designed for the environmental conditions of the Northern Tier States and for sites with mesic to wet soils. Flowering period and flower colors are coordinated for full season variety. The amount of seed of each species in the mix has been calculated using the number of seeds per pound of each species factored by establishment parameters. Mix NS-W1 contains the following 4 native grass species and 20 native wildflower species: Smooth Beardtongue, Lance Leaved Coreopsis, Bergamot, Common Milkweed, Butterfly Milkweed, Mountain Mint, Ohio Spiderwort, Wild Senna, Spiked Blazing Star, Browneyed Susan, Lance Leaved Goldenrod, Blue Vervain, Purple Coneflower, Swamp Milkweed, Sneezeweed, Canada Tick Trefoil, Joe-Pye Weed, New England Aster, Cardinal Flower, Great Blue Lobelia, Big Bluestem, Virginia Wild Rye, River Oats, and Switchgrass.
