Flying Lucky is a compilation of 101 true stories of naval aviators in peril who got lucky, beat the odds, and lived to tell the tale. They are gleaned from the monthly U.S. Navy publication Naval Aviation News from 1943 to 1949. It is anticipated that this will be the first in a series, with follow-ons covering the1950s, 1960s, etc.
