The Tawari bush is native to New Zealand and only grows in a handful of forests within New Zealand's North Island. Happy Valley Tawari Honey is a rich creamed honey that is blonde in color, has a well-rounded mild flavor and buttery smooth texture. Happy Valley Tawari Honey has a rich amber colour and a smooth, creamy finish. Featuring sandalwood, licorice and butterscotch flavors, it's the perfect honey for topping pancakes, waffles, toast and pairs magnificently with soft cheeses such as blue, brie and mascarpone, or simply enjoy a spoonful!

Happy Valley Tawari Honey's creamed consistency means it spreads like butter at room temperature, is thick, creamy, and unlike liquid honey, it doesn't drip. Considered one of the finest hive products available, it's creamed consistency is achieved by controlled granulation of the honey which results in extremely small crystals that are undetectable to the eye. No air or whipping agents have been added to this product, just 100% New Zealand honey.
