"From Rags to Rhythm" is an original suite of music with twelve movements. It features the unique style of this trio with Marcus Roberts at the piano, Rodney Jordan on bass and Jason Marsalis on drums. It's very uplifting music with lots of swing and a strong rhythmic pulse. It's easy to see why this trio is known for their powerful and melodic style.
